Race reports 2023
A very successful start to the season yesterday at Hooton park !
With getting to grips with the gears and the brakes in the morning in the first heat I was picking up the pace.
By the end of the day my confidence had come leaps and bounds since the start of the meeting.
Can’t wait to get out doing some racing
100uk Macey plate round ..
So looking into a positive weekend after Friday practice me and my dad had a good feeling about the Saturday…
So here’s how it went
Heat 1: P5 - P2
I found my way up the pack after a good start making my way into p3 after just 2 laps then making the final move for p2 on the last lap. I also gained an extra point for having the fastest lap.
Heat 2: P1 - P2
After a good start I managed to keep p1 for 3 laps before I was overtaken into Billy’s corner.
I managed to keep p2 for the rest of the race.
Heat 3: P6 - P1
With a really good decision to change onto my intermediate tyres due to intermediate snow and rain I managed to get a good start. As the race went on I managed to climb my way up to take the win. In this heat I yet again took an extra point for the fastest lap.
Final: P2 - P2
The final race of the day ended on a high with a podium after a good battle with first for the two top spots in the race.
I would like it say a huge thank you to:
